NIYEC has been engaged by the Australian Government to lead national consultations with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people aged 16–28 to help shape the new First Nations Education Policy — the first update since 1989. This is a real opportunity for young mob to have a direct say in a national policy that will influence education systems and futures for generations to come.
We will be hosting a youth consultation workshop on Kaurna Country in Adelaide, and we’d love for you to be part of it.
Workshop details:
When: Friday 6 March 2026
Where: Venue to be confirmed (Adelaide)
